  • Support of CAN bus hardware "Option H5/H8.8 HW v2" requires mainboard "uP 8 PCB".

Corrections:

  • Under AMF applications where a second mains fail occurs with at least one DG running, the remaining DGs are now started with a multi start.
  • Under AMF applications where a second mains fail occurs with at least one DG running and power cap overrule enabled, the timer is now reset (started over again) when DGs are ready and synchronised.
  • Start enable was required to be energised, if used, to activate the breakers - corrected.
  • Genset could start when SEMI button was pushed and no start signal had been given (occurred only with Option V0108 German display only).
  • Faulty situation where the AGC-3 could reboot unexpectedly has been prevented (occurred only with Option N).
  • AGC Mains MB opens unwantedly - corrected.
  • Parameter 3410 relay A setup corrected, so display shows correct value.

3.65.5

01/07/2014

  • AMF sequence was incorrect in some cases
  • TB could open inappropriately when switching from AMF to LTO

3.65.4

13/03/2014

Changes:

  • Menu 10390-10410 for password access level to log, language and control page removed. They are no longer active as they have been substituted for permissions.
  • Various checks for BTB initialising close sequence bypassed in case BTB configured as normally open and in auto mode. No PM backward compatibility is compromised due to this update.
  • Ground relay: Update of the way the ground relay is activated; prioritising is now the power management priority number instead of the CAN ID. PM Backward compatibility is compromised due to this update in respect to Ground relay functionality.

Corrections:

  • Mains power indication on superVision in island mode of operation always displayed zero. No PM backward compatibility is compromised due to this update.
  • Mains failure detection extended with evaluation of voltage phase angles.
  • The lower inhibit level for phase sequence error increased from 30% to 70% of nominal voltage.
  • Synchronising last open BTB located furthest to the right in a ringbus application could fail. In case mains connected to busbar on its left side and DG(s) on its right side, the DG(s) would not receive the command of performing synchronisation. No PM backward compatibility is compromised due to this update.
  • Capacity overrule did not work in case "Start engine" was selected and mains configured with MB and TB. No PM backward compatibility is compromised due to this update.
  • M-Logic line combination misinterpretation corrected.
  • CBE sequence updated so the excitation relay is kept energised throughout the cool down sequence in case voltage is present on the busbar.
  • GB(s) could trip unexpectedly in applications with mains without TB. Phenomenon could occur in case MB was performing back synchronisation and experienced an MB close failure. No PM backward compatibility is compromised due to this update.
  • If doing LTO without sync. to mains or AMF with "Start engine", MB would trip when DG volt./freq. okay, although the DG was performing initial idle sequence. Now MB waits until DG is ready.
  • Correction to idle sequence when idle stop not used.
  • When synchronising BTB to external/unknown voltage source, the DGs online would not always react according to synchronisation command sent from the BTB. No PM backward compatibility is compromised due to this update.
  • CAN port B was not turned off when switching from Power Management application to SingleDG application.
  • Make sure external analogue input scaling and unit are configured at startup and when changing the engineering unit.
  • TB would make unexpected trips when Load Take Over, Fixed Power etc. sequences were initiated on Mains 19/20.
  • Fault occurred under read of parameters on TCP/IP connection on the parameters enable bits.
  • Fault occurred under read of control registers on TCP/IP connection.

3.65.3

  • Endless closing/opening of MB in a Multi-Mains application in case Overlap functionality enabled and a MB on a Mains is opened in LTO sequence which is not supposed to run. No PM Backward compatibility is compromised due to this update.
  • Ground Relay functionality modified: Close command to the ground breaker is postponed from being send at start up to being send when generator voltage and frequency is within operating range. The Ground Relay is held active once V/Hz in range detected (avoids potential flickering). When bigger DG connects to busbar it would rapidly deactivate/activate the ground relay once. When BTB deloading secure ground connection on both side of BTB. No Backward compatibility is compromised due to this update.

3.63.0

22/02/2012

PM compatibility version 1.01.0.

Includes versions: 1.00.0, 1.00.1, 1.00.2 & 1.00.3.

New features:

  • GOV and AVR signals can be inversed via analogue outputs via IOM. Use 'Inverse proportional' flag in menu 2781 (GOV) and 2782 (AVR).

Changes:

  • Ground Relay handling updated. Ground Relay activates as DG start up and remains activated until GB closed. Ground relay will open again in case GB closed and larger DG being on busbar and not preparing to disconnect has Ground Relay active. PM compatibility compromised in respect to GroundRelay functionality. Code prepared for breaker feedback handling though so support of this should bepossible to implement without further compromising of compatibility.
  • EIC: DM1 log entries now saved in standard Event Log. SPN for the alarms can be read via USW Event Log.
  • EIC: Occurrence counter available in DM1 and DM2 logs.
  • Service timer 2 initialized to 0 at download.
  • DG able to abort on-going stop sequence as long as extended stop sequence not yet initiated.

Corrections:

  • Unwanted retrieval of command status by a unit powering up in a power management application. No backward compatibility compromised due to this update.
  • I/O texts for breaker relays and feedbacks are now updated to N-option when breaker configuration is changed.
  • Translation texts are now being read correctly when connected via TCP/IP.
  • Texts used for presentation of 3 phase measurements are now updated "on the fly" when phase system is changed via M-logic. Device had to be powered down/up before refreshing the relevant texts. This is no longer necessary. EIC: Caterpillar (Perkins) support of two DM1 logs is now placing diagnostic codes in the correct log when using option H7.
  • Reading of texts from USW via TCP/IP (N-option) improved.
  • Menu1130 & 1140 displayed ##.##s instead of ###.#s in editing window.
  • Minimum setting for analogue regulation output was initialized to zero at every power up when using option EF5 or EF6.
  • U and Q low (1960 + 1970) alarms reaction time enhanced (faster reaction) when alarm state is caused by phase value and voltage already below set point.
  • Relay regulation now working correct with small differences (0,1Hz and 0,2Hz) between dfMax (ch 2021) and dfMin (ch 2022) for dynamic sync.
  • If "DG missing" alarm was present as well as G3 option the unit would switch to analogue var-sharing. Now the automatic switching is removed and the user have to use the M-logic event Analogue Loadsharing and this give both var-sharing and kW-sharing.
  • Voltage level for analogue load-share where reset to 4.0V at every power up when "CumminsPCC" was selected.

3.62.1

16/12/2011

Corrections:

  • Initialization of internal communication could some times fail at power up resulting in "internal comm." alarm.
  • Initialization of N-option could some times result in garbage/missing parameter data after firmware update.
  • A normally closed Vac BTB being in AUTO and ready to close, but unable to do so due to missing BA and BB voltage, could block for other BTB in the system to perform automatic closing.
  • No Backward compatibility is compromised due to this update

Changes:

  • Phase sequence error detection updated. Now the phase sequence error check is always performed on both side. The phase sequence detected is compared with the user defined expected/intended phase sequence.
  • Preparation for scaling support to be introduced in upcoming AGC-4.
  • BTB will wait for a period of time, equal to LD stop delay, before initiating its deload sequence during active operation.
  • MB is now able to perform black closing even though it is missing all units on the CAN line as long as TB is present and open.
  • Extended Stop is now executed whenever a Semi Stop command is given when the DG is at halt. This is despite the mode of the controller.
  • In Power Management application where “Update All” is selected, a controller being in Block mode will listen for the last mode update madein the system and return to that mode when leaving Block mode.
  • VDO wire break now detect when actual measure boundaries of the HW are approached and not when transducer min/max resistance exceeded.

  • Maxumum setting of VDO resistance increased from 480 to 1800 ohm.
  • Service timer alarm now activates at 08.00 in the morning instead of 00.00 at night

Corrections:

  • If TB was in the process of synchronising in Semi Auto mode, the sequence could not be aborted by a TB open command given via modbus.
  • If MB opens (trips) during LTO sequence before TB is synchronized and “SyncToMains” is enabled the TB do not connect DG(s) to load  as system expects synchronization to occur.
  • LTO sequence is active on IDToRun. Another Mains has MCU status and mode is shifted from SEMI to AUTO or vice versa on that Mains unit.  The LTO sequence is shortly interrupted – if BackSync ON MB is synchronized for ½s and then cancelled,  if BackSync OFF then TB is tripped (causing blackout) and MB closed and TB re-synchronized.
  • If common load present right of BTB and the Right Island was called upon from the left side, the BTB would close before a DG managed to connect on the right side. If the other way around the BTB would wait until DG connected to the left and then synchronize and close.
  • If LD start/stop was done in percentage instead of in absolute value, the calculation to determine whether swapping of DGs due to priority order should be executed was invalid. The calculation secures that the swapping only takes place if the DG to be substituted is able to be stopped on LD stop condition after connecting the substituting DG.
  • A DG start threshold functionality already exists. It provides the possibility of adding a threshold value that a user defined input must  exceed before start sequence is initiated. The implantation was done in a way so the threshold value should be exceeded whereas just being equal to was not sufficient. This gave complications if the threshold was to be done with just a digital input. Due to the general improvement
of scaling handling this is now possible. As the digital input of the value “1” is compared to a one decimal threshold value any threshold value between 0.0 and 0.9 will now be seen as being below the value of the digital input.
  • NEL relays did not activate when application type was of the type "SingleDG".
  • If both ON and OFF feedback high on TB the MB would close without synchronization to voltage on busbar.
  • Control registers for enabling/disabling external control via constant commands instead of toggle commands added.
  • Phenomenon of potential loss of CAN telegrams solved.
  • Transmit rate of speed telegrams (FF46 and TSC1) to EMS2 increased from 40ms to 20ms.
  • Service port ID when using Ascii-comm. was equeal to external communication ID for H2 option (default value of "3"). It is now set to always using "1" as ID which is similar to how service power ID is handled in RTU-comm. mode.
