Intelligent Testing of Backup Power

Local based monitoring and reporting

Intelligent Testing – Maintenance & Test Tool
Testing can be time-consuming, but it’s the only way to know the condition of your Emergency Power System. Gensets should be Maintained and Tested frequently. It’s critical important that all capacity components, both mechanical and electrical are tested. Fuel system is just as important. Gensets are typically load tested at a level of 80% for 2 hours.

DEIF have developed an intelligent Maintenance & Test Tool which lets you remotely carry out several different tests on selected gensets, such as e.g., load test, full test and starter-battery tests.

All tests will initiate a Test-Report, which will be saved locally.

There are two groups of maintenance strategies:

1. Semi-automatic:
Start of test runs are executed manually direct on genset. Auto-generated test-report will be initiated when Test mode is active and when test run is ended and running mode is switched back to Auto-mode, test-report will be stored on a local server inhouse.

2. Full-automatic:
Start of test runs are automatic executed by the test-script in AWC-500 datalogger unit. Auto-generated test-report will be initiated when Test mode is active and when test run is ended and mode is switched back to Auto-mode test-report will be stored on a local server inhouse.
